Jennifer Harman was born in Reno, Nevada and started playing poker when she was eight, at the year 2000 in the WSOP she won her first bracelet, she won the second bracelet at 2002.
Jennifer decided to play professional because of her father, they had their differences but eventually reconciled.
At 2004 she took a year off to have a second kidney transplant, there are kidney problems history in the family- her mother and sister died from the same thing when she was only seventeen, after that year she returned to play again in professional tournaments.
Jennifer is married to Marco Traniello a stylist who has now also become a professional poker player, they have two twin boys.
